Well, its not a food, but you could always make your own play doh at home. There’s tonnes of recipes out there, just make sure to find one that doesnt use peanut butter to avoid any allergy scares.
Other than that, maybe mashed potatoes?
Get sausage casings, and fill them with jello.
You pick the colour. lol
Put them in a hat, or something, and let it set.
It will look good.

a group of class mates i was assigned to in psych 101 for my nursing degree cut a cabage patch doll head in half and used clay in different colors and the teacher loved it so much when she transfered to florida state she took it with her. We got an awesome grade for it!
