Sculptors who work in metal use foundries, where the work is cast, often using the ‘lost wax’ method. There are also professional model-makers who work with artists and architects. Embroidery may be designed by an artist (such as Tracey Emin) and given to textile workers to produce.

Those are foundries if they work in metal. Your question really isn’t specific enough as there are many ways to make sculpture.

I don’t think there is a very specific name.
Portrait sculptor or figure sculptor would be possible terms.

Or you can classify according to material used, wax sculptor (like Madame Tusseaud’s), metal sculptor and so on.

if u asked that to the ceramicists i know they would say that sculpture is a discipline of ceramics. we call it hand building. and pottery is not a discipline of sculpture. its a discipline of ceramics.
