Building volcano diagrams and I need help?

I need to build a cinder cone volcano, composite volcano and shield volcano, but it needs to be like a diagram… showing the inside. I have modeling clay, a white board and brown, yellow, orange and red paint, can anyone tell me how to make this? Or give me a link?

i had to do a similar project except i had to demonstrate an animal cell. make a wide volcano with the clay, then cut it open and use one side as the diagram. its easier to do it this way than to build half a volcano
Go to Google and type in
Volcano Cross Section
then go to the images tab, there are hundreds of images of all the types of Volcanoes
