Does air-dry clay get brittle after drying?
Enig asked:
I am trying to make a relief piece using air-dry modeling paste. I would like to know if this clay becomes brittle after air-drying. The piece is about 2.5′ -2.5′ I wouldn’t be firing it. So, is it possible to stick this to a plywood-board, or would it break if i do so?

I don’t think it does.
Why don’t you do a tester first? If it goes brittle and breaks, try a different clay or fire it.
It’s the best way I think, to do testers first. If it messes up, you know what not to do next time.
Hope this helps a little bit
