Plaster of paris and fossils?

where can i find plaster of paris
i need it for a science project
im making fossils
im also going to need modeling clay, i know crayola makes modeling clay. would this clay work for making fossils

plaster of paris is also called white cement, you can buy it in hardware.

Yes, the clay would work, but here’s an idea about making a fossil:
form the clay into the fossil you need, but try your best to make that clay fossil hollow inside…hope you can! Then pour the plaster of paris in, let it set and harden, and then take the clay mold off…voila! Plaster fossil hard, and in the shape you want, need.
